‼️MAJOR ANNOUCENMENT‼️
There are moments in life that change you forever, and for us, that moment was Rowen. Rowen was brave in ways most people will never have to be. He faced more than any child ever should with a strength, courage, and spirit that continues to live on in everything we do. His life and the impact he left behind are the reason Rowen’s Legacy exists today, and they guide every step forward.
After losing Rowen, we made a decision that would shape our mission in a profound way. We chose to donate his brain and spine to research, because even in the midst of unimaginable loss, we knew there had to be a way to create something meaningful...something that could help change the future for other children and families. That decision became a turning point, deepening our commitment to not only stand beside families, but to help move research forward in a way that creates real change.
Since then, Rowen’s Legacy has supported families through some of the most difficult moments of their lives, but we have always carried a deeper responsibility within us, to do more, to be part of something bigger, and to help shape what the future of childhood cancer care can look like.
Today, we are honored to share the launch of the Rowen Rednour Pediatric Brain Tumor Research Fund, created to directly support pediatric brain tumor research at the Brain Tumor Center at Boston Children’s Hospital. This fund is dedicated to advancing the research, treatments, and breakthroughs that children and families so desperately need, and to ensuring that progress continues for those still fighting.
This is more than a fund. It is a promise to Rowen, to every child, and to every family walking this path. It is a commitment to take love, loss, and purpose, and turn it into something that can help change lives.
