The Massachusetts Animal Fund seeks to end animal homelessness in the Commonwealth. Help us help them.

The Massachusetts Animal Fund is administered by the Department of Agricultural Resources with the assistance of an an advisory committee. The Fund endeavors to end animal homelessness in Massachusetts. Taxpayers can donate to help animals via Line 33f of their state income tax forms or via http://massanimalfund.com/donate; those who donate join a community invested in the responsible care of animals.

Did you know Mass Animal Fund also provides the free mandatory training for municipal animal control officers (ACOs)?

Since 2016, the Fund has worked with our ACO training team to educate over 1,000 ACOs on MA animal laws, wildlife, officer safety, report writing, record keeping, animal behavior, safe capture, and emergency preparedness.

We are currently reviewing all submitted applications for our Gloucester and Franklin Voucher Days. Owners of selected animals will be contacted if they secured a clinic spot by 9/30/2026.

Thanks to donations made on Line 33F of the MA State Income Tax Form, we are happy to announce another Voucher Day!

On Wednesday, September 9th, 2026, Mass Animal Fund is teaming up with Sterling Animal Shelter to hold a Voucher Day in Sterling, MA.

We are currently processing new submissions. We will contact applicants that have secured a spot shortly.

On Wednesday, August 19th, 2026, Mass Animal Fund is teaming up with Cape Ann Animal Aid to hold a Voucher Day in Gloucester, MA.

This Voucher Day is now FULL, and we are currently reviewing applications for eligibility. All accepted applicants will be notified over email by 7/20/2026.
