Cryptic Wings is excited to announce that we are looking for models to participate in our 10th Annual LAPS 📸

You do not need experience to participate. The only requirement is that you have a connection to lupus. Whether you:
💜 Live with lupus
💜 Are a caregiver to someone with lupus
💜 Are a healthcare professional or doctor who works with people living with lupus
💜 Support someone with lupus

This year, we are also looking to shine a light on 2 additional invisible illnesses, if that applies to you, we would love for you to join us and share your story!

Location: To be announced Cambridge or Boston, MA
Date: Fall 2026
We are currently looking at a date in mid-to-late September or early-to-mid October.

Lupus attacked my kidneys and I’m currently doing PD dialysis, which is sustaining my life. My blood type is O+, but any blood type can save my life.

Awareness colors may seem simple, but they help spark conversations, build understanding, and remind people living with chronic illness that they are not alone.

Honored to stand with Slay 4 A Cause today 💚

Grateful to be recognized as a 2025 Kidney Warrior Honoree and to share my story alongside a community rooted in strength, advocacy, and love. This organization continues to uplift and educate while honoring the legacy of Richard Slayman, a true pioneer whose courage is shaping the future of kidney care.

Moments like this remind me how important it is to speak up, spread awareness, and support one another. So thankful I was able to be part of something so powerful today 🦋💜
