The Thorpe Foundation Inc.

The Thorpe Foundation Inc. The Thorpe Foundation is a national non-profit organization that works to teach train and develop at-risk youth.

The Thorpe Foundation believes that the whole community must work in partnership to improve the lives of our youth. It is essential that these youth establish a network of people that will act as a support system and expose them to different career fields and opportunities. Our hope is that with the support of corporations and other non profits, these youth will not only dream of a future that in

cludes post-secondary education, but they will also develop the skills to make it a reality. The Foundation will work in the areas of leadership, self esteem, self respect, respect for authority and self preservation by re-igniting the morals and values of yesterday through empowering youth to become aware of their past. The Thorpe Foundation will do this by engaging them in a series of educational workshops, seminars, and community meetings and speaking engagements. We will generate a host of local and national campaigns addressing major quality of life issues youth face and the impact the youth have on society as a whole.

Giving honor to God who is the keeper of my soul as we celebrate Black History Month I wanted to send this piece out from this past summer to my page to keep the message moving forward that we must do more for our black and brown children and their families as we celebrate BLACK HISTORY MONTH. This video was done in August of 2021. I can't believe 6 months has gone by this quickly. Thank you to my Bishop Rev. William Dickerson and my GLT Family for their support and to my good friend Kevin Peterson and our dynamic team of freedom fighters for spreading the word about racial equity and harmony in Boston and the need to remove all symbols of hate and slavery from our public land marks like Hay Market Square and other public and private areas. We can do better Boston. Let's not be Boston Wrong Let's truly be Boston Strong for all of our residents especially our Black and Brown People. The Time is Now! End Racism Today Mayor Wu!
