Another great time at TechOlympics! See3D began as a Showcase project here in 2017. Great to see Emily, Beulah, Nevan and Owen. This is a premier tech conference for high schoolers showcasing IT careers, tech skills, and local businesses!

See3D had a fantastic 2025, thanks to all of our amazing volunteers, supporters, and donors. Let’s take a closer look at what our year had in store!

Photo 2: We received requests for 965 models. Since 2017, we've printed 6,119 models!
Photo 3: Our volunteers worked a total of 3,945 hours. We also welcomed new global volunteers from Spain, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Canada. Thank you everyone for your hard work!
Photo 4: Top states by model count: Ohio, 392; California, 148; New Mexico, 105; Kentucky, 103.
Photo 5: Out of 95 orders total, 46 were returning model recipients and 49 were new model recipients.

In honor of Louis Braille’s birthday yesterday, we wanted to highlight models from 2025 that featured braille made by our fabulous volunteer community!
Thank you to:
- Dan Campbell for designing a dreidel with Hebrew braille and raised Hebrew print.
- Alex Montello for designing a model that shows the alphabet in raised English print, braille, and New York Point (another tactile writing system).
- and for designing the Braille Lights Up the Mind Trophy for the 2025 Ohio Regional Braille Challenge. This trophy has cylinders stacked from largest to smallest with a profile of a head with a braille cell inside shining like a light bulb. On the edges of the cylinders is braille for the event and theme.

Happy White Cane Day!
MaKenzie travels her college campus using her white cane and other tools like this map produced by our See3D volunteers using Touch Mapper. "My 3D printed map helps me navigate campus by orienting me to specific locations around school. I can look at the best and most convenient route using the braille labels and tactile marks of the buildings and streets throughout the university." -MaKenzie
