iChase the Cure

iChase the Cure Official Page for iChase the Cure | Non-Profit Organization Dedicated to Raising Funds and Awareness to Combat Orphan Diseases. ***www.iChasetheCure.org***

iChase the Cure was founded by Danielle Volman in 2007 when she organized a 5K run/walk to raise funds for neuroblastoma, a pediatric cancer of the nervous system, research. To date, we have raised over $60,000 to help fund research for a number of cures, including a cure for children’s brain tumors, hepatitis C, multiple sclerosis, and HIV/AIDS as well. Today iChase continues to hold an annual 5K

run/walk on the Charles River Esplanade in Boston, MA to help fight against children’s brain tumors. Please join us in our fight to find cures – come out to our race, help by donating, volunteering, or help us raise awareness! The 5th annual iChase the Cure 5K for Kids' Brain Tumors just took place on April 19th, 2014 out on the Charles River Esplanade. Please visit www.ichasethecure.org to view race results and upload your photos from this year's run!

*** All proceeds from the race will go to the PLGA Foundation (d.b.a A Children's Brain Tumor Cure) to fight against PLGAs, the most common form of child brain tumors. Learn more about this underfunded cause at www.fightplga.org ***

General information

The 2017 iChase The Cure 5K is donating all proceeds to the PLGA Foundation (d.b.a A Children's Brain Tumor Cure). This is because PLGA's are the most common form of child brain tumors, and yet are still considerably underfunded (unfortunately, like many other orphan diseases). The PLGA Foundation is focused around helping to combat this issue by correctly utilizing donations to actually raise awareness and fund the best research studies.
