Bridge's provides youth in our community with essential medical care, food, clothing, and other necessities. Among those essentials are hygiene kits filled with body wipes, lip balm, hand sanitizer, deodorant, and more. Thank you to our friends at Innoviva and Life Science Cares Boston for helping assemble more than 300 hygiene kits to stock our new Van and ensure it's ready to serve young people when it launches this summer. 💙

At Bridge's Career Café, volunteers introduce young people to a wide range of jobs, sharing their experiences, advice, and what a day in their profession looks like. After attending one such presentation, Sol was inspired to learn more about a career in cybersecurity, which she was studying in school. The Education & Career Team helped arrange a shadow day at MFS Investment Management, where Sol met with the cybersecurity and IT teams, sat in on meetings, and observed engineers at work.

"It was nice to see the stuff I'm studying in practice. You can pore over a textbook, but it's different when you see it in practice, people doing the work," she said.

We had a great time representing Bridge Over Troubled Waters at this week's New England Patriots Training Camp and even got a visit from the New England Patriots Cheerleaders! 🏈

Thank you to the New England Patriots Foundation for the opportunity to connect with fans, share our mission, and raise awareness about the critical work we do to support youth experiencing homelessness across Greater Boston. We're grateful to be part of such a wonderful community event!

For more than 50 years, Bridge's Mobile Medical Van has brought healthcare directly to young people experiencing homelessness in our community. What began as a partnership with volunteer physicians from Massachusetts General Hospital became a national model for youth outreach and care. Today, that legacy continues. The next generation of Bridge's Mobile Medical Van will be ready to hit the road later this summer. 🚐✨ Stay tuned for more updates!

Our Director of Clinical Services, Jade Bulger, served on a Northeastern University panel honoring the legacy of author and activist Kitty Dukakis. Jade and her fellow panelists discussed the destigmatization of mental health, the importance of innovation in care, and the benefits and challenges of working with government agencies and other nonprofits.

The next few days in Boston threaten to bring blistering temperatures, which can be dangerous for young adults with nowhere to take shelter from the heat. Bridge provides a place for youth to cool off as well as cold water, clean clothing, toiletries, sunscreen, and more.
