Come join JAG lawyer-officers from the U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force for a Zoom information session on Wednesday, January 20 at 4:00 PM to learn about the practice of a JAG officer, career development, and national service opportunities that complement practice in the JAG corps.

The officers on hand bring a wealth of experience from service and practice around the world.

They look forward to briefly presenting about their respective experiences transitioning from law school to JAG in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, or Air Force, and to answering any questions you might have about the typical law practice day in uniform or anything else related to JAG.

Among the lawyer-officers present will be BU Law ’20 and Navy JAG, Jack McQuarrie; and BU Law ’15 and Army JAG Captain Michael Robinson.

The US JAG Corps is looking for the next generation of lawyer-officers to lead a multi-disciplinary legal practice comprised of over 1300 attorneys.

Judge Advocates can serve by trying courts-martial, advising commanders on the law of armed conflict, conducting labor negotiations, practicing environmental law, or drafting wills.

The US JAG Corps accompanies the US armed forces the world over, and has station assignments from Boston to Japan to Berlin.

The JAG Corps Application process is different than the typical application process for the private sector or other Federal agencies.
