Join us in welcoming Miles Thornton to the PhilanthroFilms team!

Miles is an aspiring actor, producer, writer, and director, currently a senior at the University of Georgia, joining us as our Film Liaison.

In his role, Miles will be establishing relationships across the film industry while also creating new opportunities to connect, collaborate, and share stories.

A former University of Georgia football player, Miles brings firsthand experience in leadership, communication, and teamwork, shaped through years of competing at a high level.

His passion for storytelling and serving others is at the core of everything he does, and we’re excited to have his energy and vision helping grow the PhilanthroFilms network.

And fun fact — he was class president and founded the debate team at his high school.

Welcome to the team, Miles!

Join us in welcoming Connor Pannell to the PhilanthroFilms team!

Connor is a filmmaker, entrepreneur, and educator joining us as our Education Coordinator.

Through his first business, New East Rental, Connor supported productions for Warner Bros., Amazon, Apple TV+, and more, giving him firsthand insight into how high-level projects are produced. His creative work has taken him across the globe—from the USA to Canada, Europe, and the Middle East—creating feature films, short films, web series, and television.

His projects have been featured by Austin Film Festival, SeriesFest, Catalyst Film Festival, and others.

Connor also served as Senior Producer for the Peabody Awards, one of the most respected institutions in American media. His artistic honors include support from the Willson Center Graduate Research Award and the Janelle Padgett Knight Graduate Award, the Center’s most selective honor presented only in exceptional years to its top-ranked artist.

We’re excited to have his experience, creativity, and passion helping shape the next generation of storytellers at PhilanthroFilms.

And fun fact — he’s also passionate about the origin of the chocolate chip cookie.

Welcome to the team, Connor!
