We are the Absolute Alpha Beta Chapter of Sigma Beta Rho Fraternity, Inc. at Northeastern University in Boston, MA.

Our Mission:
To cultivate a global leadership network, founded in brotherhood, and impassioned by service to each other and our world. Sigma Beta Rho is the premier national multicultural fraternity in the United States. Founded in 1996 on the principles of duty to society, dedication to brotherhood, and the remembrance of cultural awareness, Sigma Beta Rho has since grown to share its goals with over 2,500 men on over 45 college campuses. The Northeastern University Associate Chapter was founded on April 14th, 2007 by 13 young gentlemen. These individuals were strangers to one another, coming from different cultures, backgrounds, and lifestyles. Through the principles of Sigma Beta Rho, these 13 men grew to understand and respect one another, and celebrate the differences which make them unique. Unified through diversity, these gentlemen became known as the Alpha Class of Northeastern University. In the year that followed, the Alpha Class passed on the teachings of brotherhood beyond all barriers to ten additional gentlemen who were inducted as the Beta and Gamma classes of Sigma Beta Rho at Northeastern University. With the assistance of other multicultural Greeks, these 23 gentlemen pioneered the establishment of the Multicultural Greek Council at Northeastern University in the fall of 2008 and became an officially recognized multicultural Greek organization at Northeastern University. Their enthusiasm has fueled their success in the years following, and they continue to maintain an active presence in both the Northeastern and surrounding Boston communities.

Gabe Ortiz 🗽 is living proof that side quests can become a full-time job 😭 between studying marine biology 🌊, catching pokémon 🎮, and being one of the chapter djs 🎧, bro somehow manages to stay booked and busy at all times.

Coming straight outta New York 🗽, Gabe can usually be found talking about fish 🐠, playing Malcolm Todd 🎵 on the aux, or explaining some random fact that nobody asked for but everybody ends up listening to anyway 💀. being wasian 🌏 and having a famous sister ⭐ just adds even more lore to an already stacked character build.
