The Hoyt Foundation aspires to build the individual character, self-confidence and self-esteem of America’s young people with disabilities through inclusion in all facets of daily life; including in family and community activities, especially sports, at home, in schools, and in the workplace. Each year, the Hoyt family continues to grow Dick, Judy and Rick Hoyt’s legacy, by speaking before communi

ty and professional groups, and by direct participation in many road races, triathlons and other endurance events. The Foundation also provides advice and support to groups and individuals who share this mission.

Boston Marathon 2026: More than $300,000 raised by Team Hoyt!

We are incredibly proud of our 2026 Team Hoyt Boston Marathon runners, duo teams, and supporters who came together to advance inclusion through The Hoyt Foundation.
This year’s team raised more than $300,000 in support of The Hoyt Foundation, setting a new fundraising record for Team Hoyt!

To every athlete who trained, every donor who gave, and every individual who encouraged and cheered from near and far — thank you. This achievement belongs to all of you.
From adaptive equipment and inclusive programming to opportunities that help people of all abilities participate side-by-side, your generosity helps turn “YES YOU CAN” into reality.

We are also honored to have been one of 193 nonprofit organizations participating in the Bank of America Boston Marathon Official Charity Program. Collectively, this year’s charity teams helped set a new Boston Marathon fundraising record, generating $57.3 million to benefit organizations making a difference in communities across Massachusetts and beyond.

Thank you for helping us honor the legacy of Dick and Rick Hoyt while creating new opportunities for inclusion for generations to come. ❤️💙

The Hoyt Foundation and the Flutie Foundation are proud to award more than $92,000 in funding this year through the Dick and Judy Hoyt "Yes You Can" Inclusion Grant.

Carrying forward the legacy of Dick and Judy Hoyt, these grants help open doors to greater inclusion and opportunity for individuals with disabilities. Because everyone deserves the chance to participate, belong, and thrive - in the classroom, on the field, on the stage, and throughout their community.

The Hoyt Foundation was pleased to attend the MetroWest YMCA’s Annual Meeting, celebrating the volunteers, members, staff, and community partners whose leadership and service help strengthen communities across the region.

We were especially excited to see Scalora Consulting honored with the Community Champion Award. For several years, Scalora has partnered with the YMCA to expand opportunities for local families and, most recently, has played a key role in helping advance the vision for the future Team Hoyt Community YMCA in Ashland.

The evening also celebrated five inspiring young leaders with Changemaker Awards for the positive impact they are making in their communities. Pictured with the recipients is Russ Hoyt, President & CEO of The Hoyt Foundation.
