Our Story

Each year the Rotary Club of Bossier City presents the Annual Duck Race to benefit children charities in the Shreveport-Bossier City region. All ticket sales go to the selected charities with the $10,000 prize being donated by our generou ss corporate sponsors.T This year the race will benefit the Gingerbread House and the Volunteers of America Lighthouse Program. Since inception in 2009, more than $230,000 has been raised to benefit the charities.
