🚨Our Boscobel Police Department is hiring!

Looking to serve and protect? Now’s your chance! 🚓👮🏼👮🏽‍♂️

We're Hiring! ️‍🔥

The Boscobel Police Department is in search of qualified individuals who wish to protect and serve a community where they are appreciated!

Tucked away in the beautiful Driftless Wisconsin River Valley, Boscobel is a beautiful community where you can raise a family and enjoy a career in policing. Boscobel is proud to be an "outdoor recreation destination," and 12-hour shifts allow officers to have a lot of time off to enjoy the great outdoors and all the area has to offer. In our department, it's okay to have fun and laugh and we strive to maintain a family oriented atmosphere. We believe in family first, and work together to ensure that family can be a priority for all. Stop in or give us a call if you want to check out our facility or have any questions about the position.

Interested applicants are asked to complete a resume and DJ-LE330 form. Applications and resumes can be submitted via email to [email protected] or mailed to the Boscobel Police Department (202 W. Oak Street, Boscobel WI 53805). More information can be found on WILENET. Applications are due by Friday, August 21st, 2026, at 3pm.

The Boscobel Farmers Market's “Pie in the Face” fundraiser is back!

The fundraiser will run for three weeks-Oct 3rd, 10th, and 17th, with 50% of the proceeds going directly to support the Farmers Market and the other 50% will go to the organization or fundraiser of your choice: We’re looking for enthusiastic community volunteers to take part. Each volunteer will have their photo displayed on a donation bucket along with their business or club they belong to and where their other 50% of donations will go to at the market and will be responsible for encouraging donations. You’re also welcome to place a bucket at your business to help collect additional contributions. All funds raised must be brought to the farmers market each week, so we can keep an accurate running total. All funds must be received by Oct. 17th to be counted.

After the first week, we’ll announce the current top three fundraisers on our page and Boscobel Dial—but after that, standings will remain a mystery until the end! In the fourth week-Oct. 24th, the top three individuals who collected the most donations will be notified and receive a pie in the face. (You get to choose who pies you.) Winners will need to be present at the market at 10 a.m. by the shelter in Depot Park.

We hope you’ll join us for this fun and lighthearted event in support of our Boscobel Farmers’ Market!
If interested in participating email [email protected] or text or call 608-391-0635.
