Greetings all, this year's fourth of July 2025 parade in Boscobel will be at 1pm. All veterans are invited and encouraged to march in formation with the Color Guard, just wear something related to your branch of service or military style camouflage. The Veterans staging area for the parade will be in front of the Boscobel Schools Bus Garage at 12:30pm. Hope to see everyone there to help celebrate Independence Day.

Greetings all, this year's Boscobel 105th Veterans Day ceremony at the high school will be at 10 am in the big gym. I hope everyone can make it.

Greetings all, tomorrow will be the 249th birthday celebration of the Marine Corps. It will also be the ground breaking ceremony in Philadelphia to start re-construction of the Tun Tavern, the birthplace of the Marine Corps. It's scheduled to be completed for the 250th birthday next year. Semper Fi

Hello everyone, the Boscobel VFW Gilbertson, Radley, Pitzer post 10393 will be having an open house on August 4th from noon until 3pm to celebrate it's 50th year anniversary. Hope to have a good turn out. Refreshments will be provided. Anyone wanting to bring a dish to pass will be appreciated.

Calling all Veterans that are able to march. Any Veterans who want to march in the annual Boscobel Fourth of July parade. Meet the Boscobel VFW and American Legion in front of the Boscobel school bus garage at 12:30 pm on the Fourth of July. The desired attire will be clothing representing your branch of service. Calling all that can volunteer. The Boscobel VFW and American Legion will be posting up American Flags on main street in Boscobel on Monday May 20th at 3pm in observance of Memorial Day. Also at 5pm that day, Flags will be placed on Veterans graves at the Boscobel cemetery. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

Today is the anniversary of the allied victory in Europe for World War 2. We must remember all of our troops in the European campaign then gave some and some gave all. Happy VE Day from the Boscobel VFW Gilbertson, Radley, Pitzer Post 10393.

I hope everyone had a safe and Merry Christmas. I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy new year. Remember to look for your fellow Veterans this holiday season for it can be a harder time of the year for some. If anyone needs to talk, please reach out to fellow Veterans.

Season's greetings, the annual Gilbertson, Radley, Pitzer VFW post 10393's Christmas party will be held on December 11 right after the monthly meeting. An earlier meeting time of 1800 due to the Christmas party to follow. Bring a dish to pass. Hope to have a good out.
