Happy Thanksgiving!

We are so thankful for all of our generous donors, without whom our vision would not be coming to fruition. A huge thank you to all those who have helped along the way and we can’t wait to reveal our monument to honor our sisters in arms.

Additionally, in order to properly recognize our star-tier donors, all donations received after the new year will go to the NH Veterans Cemetery Association for the upkeep of the NH Military History Walkway.

Yesterday afternoon we were presented with a 4 Star Donation from the GFWC New Hampshire! To date, the General Federation of Women’s Clubs across the state of New Hampshire have contributed immensely and made themselves a 5 star donor!

We are so privileged to have their partnership in this endeavor…they literally are “making things happen”.

Thank you so much to the New Hampshire Union Leader for recognizing the gracious donation we received from the Vietnam Veterans of America, Central NH Chapter 41! Thank you all for your continued support and generous donations to make a monument for the women who have served in our military services!

Happy Women’s Veterans Day! One year ago today we had our first meeting to begin planning this amazing memorial to honor women veterans in New Hampshire AND one year from today we will be revealing our memorial to the world! Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making this dream become a reality!

Also, we will no longer be taking donations after December 31st, 2024 so that we can begin building our memorial and plan how we will honor our donors. We look forward to seeing all of you at our reveal on June 12th, 2025 so you can see the beautiful monument dedicated to our female veterans!

Mz Sheila is an amazing part of our team and we’re so honored to have her!

Honoring NH's Women Veterans with Navy Veteran Sheila Casey at the Helm! ⚓️🇺🇸

The state veterans cemetery is getting its 1st memorial dedicated to these brave women, spearheaded by Navy veteran Sheila Casey. A passionate advocate, Sheila, a NHVCA alumna, took the initiative in 2018 to create this lasting tribute. With Deb Beattie & retired Maj. Gen. Gretchen Dunkelberger's (former NHVCA President) support, they're making it happen! ✨

This stunning tribute will feature the NH shape crafted from stainless steel, with delicate tree branches holding the insignias of each service branch. A granite base will hold a heartfelt inscription & acknowledge major donors.

NHVCA garden volunteers will plant trees, shrubs & flowers to create a peaceful atmosphere.
