🌟 CAMP K STAFF LOCKED IN FOR 2026: Adam !
Hi, I’m Adam and this is my 4th summer at Camp K! In years past, you could see me driving the bus all around the state for adventure camps; this year will be a bit different for me as I’ll be our Adventure Camp Director and will be more present on camp property organizing events behind the scenes! I’m looking forward to growing with the team and learning more about other people and myself— and of course, hanging out with kids playing sports and fishing; two of my favorite things!

Hi, I’m Gus. I’m from Groton, Massachusetts and stay in Southport for the summer. I’m so excited for this summer at Camp K! I used to be a camper here years ago, and now I’m hopeful that I can help make the experience as fun as the one I had. I love talking about anything from popular music to action movies to football and baseball.

CAMP K STAFF LOCKED IN: Mary!
I’m Mary and this will be my fourth year at Camp K as your Community Resource Specialist - I’m here as a resource for assisting with campers, families and staff. I have close connections to the Boothbay Harbor region and have retired to Maine after many years in Health Care & Leadership Development.

I love being outdoors and all camp activities from silliness to super structured. I have lots of ideas and experience and I still love to learn new things!

I just bought a large parcel of land in Maine that includes a house, pastures, forest and 25 acres of wild blueberry fields!

Hi! My name is Margaret and I’m from Southern California! This is my first summer working as a camp counselor, but I’ve been coming to Boothbay Harbor since I was born. I even went to Camp K when I was younger! I love the beach and have 2 dogs named Mabel and Angus. I am a big animal person and often volunteer at my local dog shelter!

Hello! I'm Taieka and I'm excited to be joining Camp K this summer! I'm from the beautiful island of Jamaica and I'm a rising year 2 student at the Shortwood Teacher's College with a strong interest in personal growth and community building. I'm looking forward to spending my summer at Camp K because I'm eager to challenge myself, develop new skills, and connect with like-minded individuals in a supportive environment. The camp's emphasis on teamwork, creativity, and outdoor adventure aligns perfectly with my values and interests. A fun fact about me is that I read over 50 books a year; In my free time I'm passionate about reading and writing I believe that these passions can bring people together and make a positive impact on our communities. I'm excited to contribute to and learn from the Camp K community this summer. Let's make it an unforgettable experience!

CAMP K STAFF LOCKED IN FOR 2026: William!
My name is William and I am from Johannesburg, South Africa. I am the eldest of 2 brothers, my younger brother is 2 and a bit years younger then I am. I finished school in December 2025, and feel I need to explore the world, grow and get a better understanding of who I am and give back to a community, hence I have chosen to help at Summer Camp in the US. I have spent a lot of my spare time either mountain biking on trails in and around my hometown, or gaming with friends in the comfort of my home. I tried really hard to get my provincial and country colours for mountain biking, but due to my final year of school, I needed to work on academics rather than on sport. I did manage to acquire 3 x full colours for mountain biking at school and captained the school MTB team for 2 years. I am very technically minded, and excelled at Technical drawing in high school. I have a hugely big soft sport for my Yorkshire Terrier boy dog called Sprocket. I am exceptionally passionate about helping the younger generation develop and become the best versions of themselves, I thrive on communication and acquiring understanding around matters I am less knowledgeable on.
