Please stay warm and safe throughout this subzero weather over the next few days! Here are a few things to do that are very important during this time.

1. Check on the elderly. Especially those who live alone.

2. Bring all pets indoors. A couple of extra blankets in the dog house will not make a difference.

3. Do not use kerosene, propane or any other fuel based heater indoors if they are not properly vented. Carbon monoxide poisoning is the Silent Killer. If you have these heaters indoors and begin to experience a headache, weakness, dizziness, or nausea, please get out of the house and call 911.

4. Assure that you have enough of home heating fuel, propane, or firewood to heat your home with.

5. Last but not least....be sure to have an abundant supply of HOT CHOCOLATE!!!
