Community Resource Council

Community Resource Council CRC is a local effort on community improvement organized to create a safety net for local families.

The Community Resources Council serves the communities of Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Southport, and Edgecomb to help the peninsula's most vulnerable citizens of all ages. There are parts to the Resources Council, which begins with our Community Navigator, Hannah Corkum. The heart of our services begins here, as she is the contact person for those who require assistance. The other facets of the Cou

ncil include: The Woodchucks, The Fuel Fund, Food For Thought, Set for Success, Community Rides and The Addiction Outreach Program.

CRC will be closed this Friday as we join the country in honoring Juneteenth, the celebration of June 19, 1865 when all in the United States of America were finally freed--over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.

One in five children experience food insecurity in Maine. We're so grateful to our Boothbay Harbor Hannaford for supporting us in addressing this in our region. Proceeds from their Fight Hunger Bags will benefit our Food for Thought program throughout the month of June. If you find yourself needing a reusable bag, please consider choosing one of the orange ones! 😉🧡

We are so grateful to the 100+ Women Who Care Lincoln County for your donations to the CRC. This gift helps us care for our neighbors in need during the next heating season. Do not underestimate the power of the women who are creating real change in Lincoln County❤️

We are a wave of change 🌊💙

Together, members of 100+ Women Who Care Lincoln County raised over $14,700 in support of Community Resource Council—an incredible investment in our community.

This is what happens when women come together with purpose: real impact, real support, and real change for our neighbors.

We are so proud to stand behind organizations doing vital work every day—and even prouder of the collective power that makes it possible.
