Boothbay Region Student Aid Fund is proud to spotlight 2022 BRHS graduate Emily Lyn Rumney (formerly Emily Echols) on her graduation from Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University with a degree in Aviation Business Administration.

Emily’s story is exactly why our community continues to invest in local students year after year. Through the generosity of our donors, BRSAF helps students pursue their goals, reduce financial barriers, and focus on building bright futures.

Congratulations, Emily — and thank you to everyone who makes these journeys possible. ✈️💙

For over 60 years, the Boothbay Region Student Aid Fund — truly your Student Aid Fund — has supported students who have attended Boothbay Region High School as they pursue education beyond high school.

Through the continued generosity of our community — including both year-round and summer residents — BRSAF provides need-based grants to support students in their next step, whether that be vocational, technical, or traditional degree programs.

Over the past 10 years, BRSAF has awarded 719 grants totaling more than $4.05 million. This past year alone, we supported over 60 students.

It’s a long-standing tradition of neighbors helping neighbors — and continues to grow stronger today.
