Join the free Harbor Drum Circle this Saturday (2 - 4pm) to add a little fun to your weekend! Meet at the Community Center in the Meadow Mall

Unexperienced and Experienced drummers are welcome. B.Y.O.Drum if you have one. Some percussion instruments will be available.

The Harbor Drum Circle is geared toward beginners and involves guidance, teaching, technique, and cultural history. Let your inner child out to play!

First, thank you to Mary Lou Teel for coming to discuss her experiences with CBS Sunday Morning! A great talk with lots of great memories of local people. The injection of humor was fabulous!

Second, thank you to all the folks who came out on a Thursday evening & dodged torrential downpours for an 'Evening with Mary Lou Teel"!

Last, but not least, thank you to Jane Carpenter for organizing the event & Chris Armstead for all the technical support AND the two pictures below (didn't even see him taking these!). Also, BRTV for filming the event, Hannaford for the yummy treats, and all the VOLUNTEERS who helped rearrange furniture before & after the event!

Below are some of the things likely going on today at the Community Center, but regardless, there will be conversations, laughter & coffee.

Happy Thursday!

There will be plenty of things going on at the Community Center today. Thursdays are already busy with all the tables occupied by Mahjong & Mexican Train Dominos games, but tonight we open the doors again to learn a bit about Mary Lou Teel's experiences working with CBS News & CBS Sunday Morning. Hope to see you for a few of these activities!

Oh no, what to do!? Another beautiful day in Vacationland. Guess we will just have to make the best of it.

I know the "Ladies Who Love to Dance" will be enjoying the nice weather for their outdoor class.

Of course, we will be open (10am - 2pm) for anyone wishing to stop in for a visit.

Mahjong, Mah Jongg, Mah-jongg, Mahjongg. No matter how you spell it, we will be playing this today at the Community Center from 10am - 12:30pm!

The Qigong group will be meeting from 11am - noon at the Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa. Should be a beautiful day to enjoy the outdoors.

Guess what? Knitting is a year round craft! Today the Drop In Knitting group will gather 10 - Noon. They always seem to have an unfinished project at the ready.

Of course, you don't need a reason to pop in. There will be coffee brewing, folks to visit, and a jigsaw puzzle in the works. All waiting for you!
