🥳🍿 Happy National Popcorn Lovers Day! 🍿🥳

Today we’re celebrating one of the best snacks around… POPCORN! Whether you like it buttery, cheesy, caramel, or straight out of the campfire popper, there’s a popcorn style for everyone.

Scouts know popcorn isn’t just a snack — it’s also how many packs raise funds for adventures, campouts, and new gear. So today is the perfect day to grab a bowl, share it with family, and think about all the fun scouting memories made over a bag of popcorn.

What’s your favorite kind of popcorn? 🍿
Drop it in the comments!

What a fantastic evening at our Blue & Gold Banquet with Pack 163, Boonville! 💙🐾

We kicked off the night with a beautiful opening flag ceremony led by our Color Guard, followed by a delicious fried chicken dinner and an incredible spread of potluck sides. Our Pack families sure know how to come together! We wrapped up the meal with cupcakes and sang Happy Birthday to Scouting as we celebrated another amazing year.

The highlight of the evening was our advancement ceremony. Our Cubmaster shared a meaningful story about Akela and the journey each Scout takes through the ranks. Each Scout received face paint representing both their current rank and the rank they were advancing to. As they crossed the bridge, they removed their neckerchief and were presented with their new rank neckerchief — a special tradition symbolizing growth, perseverance, and achievement.

We proudly celebrated Scouts advancing across multiple ranks, including:
🦁 Lion
🐯 Tiger
🐺 Wolf
🐻 Bear
🌲 Webelos
🏹 Arrow of Light

In addition to rank advancements, many Scouts were recognized for earning adventure belt loops and pins throughout the year. Several Scouts also earned walking sticks for completing 12 hiking miles — an incredible accomplishment that shows dedication and perseverance.

Special recognitions included Conservation Good Turn patches for service projects such as planting trees and Woods of Webelos participation patches.

We closed the evening with a final flag ceremony, reflecting on how much our Scouts have grown this year — not just in rank, but in leadership, character, and confidence.

Thank you to our leaders, volunteers, and families who make Pack 163 such a strong and supportive community. We are so proud of every Scout and can’t wait to see what next year brings! 💙

Today Pack 163 visited Woodmont and Transcendence Nursing Homes to spread some holiday cheer with caroling 🎶
Our Scouts had a fantastic time, and it was extra special when the residents sang right along with them. Such a meaningful experience for our kids and a wonderful reminder of the joy of sharing our voices and smiles with others.

🚤🎄 Raingutter Regatta & Pack Christmas Party Recap 🎄🚤

Yesterday our Cub Scouts gathered for a fun-filled afternoon of racing the raingutter boats they built themselves—and the competition was fierce!

🏆 Raingutter Regatta Results:
🥇 Corran – 1st Place
🥈 Jaina – 2nd Place
🥉 Jaxon – 3rd Place
⭐ Scout’s Choice Award: Jaina’s boat

During the races, everyone warmed up with hot chocolate and cookies 🍪☕

The Scouts also spent time wrapping bags filled with gloves, hats, scarves, blankets, and socks for Impact Ministry. They proudly voted to use part of their popcorn sale earnings to support this community service project—showing true Scout spirit and generosity.

We’re so proud of our Scouts for their creativity, teamwork, and kindness this holiday season! 💙💛

🎄 Pack 163 in the Boonville Christmas Parade! 🍬

What a fun (and chilly!) afternoon at the 79th Annual Boonville Christmas Parade! This parade is a favorite for so many of our Scouts, and they showed up bundled, smiling, and ready to celebrate.

Our float featured a festive gingerbread house and even a gingerbread Scout, and the kids had a blast waving to the crowd and tossing lots of candy along the route. 🍭🍫

Thank you to all the families who helped decorate, ride, and cheer us on. We’re proud of our Scouts for representing Pack 163 with so much enthusiasm and holiday spirit! ❤️💛

Merry Christmas from Pack 163! 🎅🌟

Thank you to Pack 163 and 4-H Club Community Builders and the Schitter family for helping us plant native tees at Tennyson Park! We were so grateful for all the help! Thank you, Town of Tennyson, too for always being a great partner!
