There is going to be a rainwater catchment workshop happening in the Navarro watershed on Saturday 10-3, hosted by Conservation Works North Coast Resource Conservation & Development Council and Mendocino County RCD Resource Conservation District of Mendocino County in Rancho Navarro. Conservation Works has a limited number of 5K tanks to giveaway to landowners on a prioritized basis in the North Fork Navarro and Mill Creek sub-basins to benefit streamflows for endangered Coho salmon, so outreach to date has been focused in those watersheds. There will be a workshop in the morning at the Rancho Navarro community center and then we'll tour a few residential tank systems in the neighborhood. It should be fun and informative. Space is limited, but there is still room, so if you are interested to participate no matter where you live, please use this link to register and learn more...https://www.conservationworksnc.org/events/navarro-river-watershed-workshop
