Things are happening! And we want to invite you to our Groundbreaking & Prayer celebration, Sunday, September 13th at 12:00pm!

The delicious, “Trail Dogs” food truck will be on site selling gourmet hotdogs, chicken strips, and more!

All are welcome! Stop by, buy a hotdog, take a picture by the Firm Foundation Foursquare sign and most importantly, take the time to walk the property to pray! Bring a friend, bring your family, bring the community, the more prayers the better!

What a “fire” message and service this morning, literally! 🔥

Check out our favorite part of today’s message from Pastor Jordan!

“Jesus asks Peter this question three times: “Do you love me?”

With each repetition, Peter’s heart breaks a little more, grieved that Jesus seems to doubt his love. But something profound is happening. By a charcoal fire, Peter denied Jesus three times. Now, by a charcoal fire, Peter affirms his love for Jesus three times.

Failure is being met with grace. Denial is being overwritten by devotion. The God of the Second Chance is healing His people.

Jesus is saying, “Peter, if you love me, get back in the game! Shepherd my flock, build my church. Your failure doesn’t define you. Your love for me, however imperfect, is what matters. Get back in the game!”

Maybe you feel defined by your failures, haunted by past mistakes. Perhaps you look in the mirror and see only the label of your sin, like Peter might have seen “The Denier.” But God sees differently. His response to our failures isn’t condemnation…it’s redemption.

Jesus has invested too much in you to accept your resignation. Don’t give up. He is for you!”

What an amazing “Back to school with Jesus” service today!

To all the teachers, administrators, bus drivers, School Resource Officers, Maintenance Workers, coaches and students alike…go and be the light, teach others the way Jesus taught, love others the way Jesus loved!

Here’s one of our favorite parts of Pastor Jordan’s message:

“Jesus says, "You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am." John 13:13

Having the right teacher makes all the difference in the world.

And listen, I know you have been conditioned to separate faith from your teaching. I know you have been conditioned to separate your faith from your school. I know you have been conditioned to have two hats, a public school teacher and a private life christian. I know you feel off like you’re doing something wrong speaking Jesus in school. But that’s the great thing about the power of Jesus. He doesn’t just need your words, he needs your actions.

So show them the light, Show them love, show them joy, show them peace, show them kindness, show them compassion, show them the love and grace that Jesus Christ shows you!” ⛪️✝️🙌📚

School is right around the corner and we are excited to kick off “Back to school with Jesus” week! But we need your help!

Share this post, tag a teacher, administrator, staff member, School Resource Officer, or a student, or message us the name of a teacher, administrator, staff member, School Resource Officer, or student, so we can add them to our prayer wall where our team of prayer warriors will be speaking the name of Jesus over their life, their classroom, their school, and their homes!

Also, this Sunday, August 23rd, Pastor Jordan is speaking a special “Back to School with Jesus” message and we are asking all of you to invite a teacher, administrator, staff member, or a student to Church!

Each student and teacher who attends this coming Sunday will receive a “Back to School with Jesus” gift and our FFY kids will have a “free will donation” soda stand ready to serve right after the service.

Start sharing, start tagging, and start inviting as many teachers, staff, and students that you can!

We want to start this school year off right….with Jesus! ⛪️✝️🙌📚✏️
