Our Thursday night festival musicians are hard at work rehearsing for the Missouri River Festival of the Arts. What a wonderful sound coming from this historic hall!

This is just a little taste of what’s in store for you. Come experience the incredible musicians, beautiful music, and magic of the festival Thursday through Saturday, August 27–29.

The day before the Missouri River Festival of the Arts… 🎶

Today, Thespian Hall is quiet. The stage is set, the piano is waiting, and the seats are still empty. But tomorrow, this beautiful hall will come alive as the seats fill with our dedicated festival patrons, classical music lovers, and those experiencing the festival for the very first time.

There’s something magical about that moment when the doors open, the audience settles in, and the first notes of music fill Thespian Hall.

Our Festival Bike Tour is this Saturday! (Always the weekend before The MRFA) There’s still time to sign up!

🚴 Join us this Saturday, August 22!🚴🏽‍♀️

In conjunction with our 34th Annual Festival Bike Tour, we’ll be offering $5 tours of Thespian Hall from 8 a.m. to noon!

Come tour this historic theater and be part of the fun as we welcome our bike tour participants back to the finish line. It’s a great morning to enjoy a little history, support our historic properties, and cheer on the riders! 🎭🚴‍♀️

Tickets are on sale now! All performances start at 7:30 p.m.

Thursday - Peter Henderson, St. Louis Symphony pianist, performs the Brahms Piano Quartet with the Missouri River Festival String Ensemble.

Friday - The "442's" A five-piece instrumental ensemble playing an exciting mix of jazz and classical music.

Saturday - Sam Hollister, Assistant Conductor of the St. Louis Symphony, conducts the Festival Chamber Orchestra. Selections include Mozart's "Adagio and Fugue in C minor," the first movement of the Grieg Piano Concerto, and Tchaikovsky's "Serenade for Strings".
