Today Local 4850 honors those who gave everything in their service to others.

Today, we pause to remember the 343 fire fighters who made the ultimate sacrifice at the World Trade Center, along with the thousands of innocent people who lost their lives 25 years ago.

We will never forget their courage, their sacrifice, or the lives forever changed that day.

Their legacy lives on every time fire fighters answer the call, stand beside their brothers and sisters, and serve their communities with courage and selflessness.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Boonville - Hydrant Flushing
Fire hydrant flushing will start Wednesday, Sep 9th and continue for the next 2 to 3 weeks.
As a result of the flushing, Boonville City Utilities customers may experience lower than normal water pressure or some discoloration in drinking water.
Any discoloration should only last a short period of time and can be alleviated by allowing taps to run for 15 or 20 seconds prior to using water.
Customers should pay close attention to any water discoloration prior to doing laundry. The water will continue to meet all federal water quality standards.
Hydrant flushing is a normal maintenance procedure and results in improved performance of the drinking water distribution system.
