This morning Green Fest volunteers dropped off a huge donation of clothes to Children In Need, Inc. in Hagerstown! The clothes, shoes, & blankets were items remaining from Saturday’s Swap & Recycling event. Thank you to the community for being so generous to the Clothing Swap. A big Thanks to Antietam-Conococheague Watershed Alliance - ACWA for lending us their trailer to store & haul the donations!!

It’s starting!! We begin collecting clothing at Pavilion 1 in Shafer Park from 5-7pm tonight and tomorrow night. Then again on Friday from 3-6pm. This really helps us get a jump start on sorting by size and type so we’re ready to go bright and early on Saturday! 💚🌻

This Saturday, May 9, is Joyce's 85th birthday. It's also the day of the Boonsboro Green Fest at Shafer Park.

My grandmother loved going to Green Fest - so I built something for her, and for the community she loved. Today, Grandma Joyce lives in memory care in Hagerstown.

The app is no cost. No data is collected, and nothing is for sale inside.

The 2026 Boonsboro Green Fest mobile app I created tells you what to bring, who's taking it, and where to go in the park. You can install it on your phone's home screen and open it like any other app on Saturday.

Sharing some memories from last year’s Green Fest Swap & Recycling Event. We’re looking forward to seeing all of you on Saturday as we do it all again! And besides all of the recycling and free swap areas, we also have Black Mountain Roasters, Bricello's Caterers and Grilled Formaggio, Tony M. Music, fun crafts for the little ones hosted by our local Girl Scout troop, Washington County Master Gardeners, and so much more!
