Mary Lou Lambert Bullard

For the past 17 years. My hearts desire is to share words that honor and uplift the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus endured a tremendous sacrifice on the cross for every single person in this world.

The cross on Highway 45 symbolizes both a joyous celebration and a reminder of the reason Jesus chose to suffer for our sins.

The cross stands tall, and it touches my heart every time I pass by. It reminds me of Jesus’s profound love, as He chose to stay on that cross instead of calling down angels to rescue Him from the unmerciful agony and suffering he endured.

Those who contributed to the building of the cross knew exactly how their donations would be used. They made a choice to invest their money in a large cross for other to see…to stop by and reminisce in their hearts that love was the reason Jesus chose the cross.

I understand that some may have concerns about alternative uses for those funds.
I’m sure you are a giver and I respect your choices regarding where you give. It’s your money, and you are empowered to make those decisions, just like everyone who supported the building of the cross.

Let’s take a moment to be thankful that God instilled in us a desire to give. He delights when we remember Him and others through our acts of generosity. God loves a cheerful giver!

In my humble way, which means giving as I can, I want to contribute to maintaining the presence of our cross, ensuring the grounds are clean and the lights shine bright. I want the world to see that there are people in Booneville, Mississippi, who have chosen to use their resources to remind others about the sacrifice Jesus made for us all.

Whether you support the cross or not, remember this: He loves each of us, and He died so that we could all have the gift of eternal life.

Sitting and resting from just finishing removing a half finished bird nest and accompanying mess from the Pavilion, Cross board member Dr. Cliff Cartwright, my wife Brenda and myself were pleased when four members of a family from Missouri joined us for a few minutes. They were on the way home from a few days vacation and wanted to check out our Cross. Very friendly and obvious Christian people. Doc invited them to take one of our free easy read Bibles and they said they would.
I hope it makes all of you feel good to know that our Cross sitting in a corner of a cotton patch in Prentiss County Ms. is a beacon of hope for so many from all over this great country of ours.
Hearing this family talk about our Cross made my day and I know it made Doc and Brenda’s
day too.

Recently Cross board members Eric Nanney and Randy Calvery replaced the pump/motor that operates the water feature at the Cross. The day afterwards water was running everywhere and we assumed we had a busted waterline we just didn’t know where.

I decided to call my plumber for assistance. That was Rick Hare plumbing and electrical. I told Rick what was going on and he said he’d meet me there at the Cross. After eliminating all other causes Rick determined that it was the float that controls the water in the reservoir for the water feature. Rick and his crew fixed that and everything was back to normal. Rick didn’t want payment for what they did but he did tell me that he wouldn’t be where he is today without God. I say for Rick and for me Amen.

Hey everybody this is Deryl Saylors and I need your help. A person named Minnie Craig put a comment on our Easter post ( written by Mary Lue Lambert Bullard) about ordering T-shirts.
Apparently someone is making Tshirts and selling them without us
( The Board) authorizing it or knowing anything about it. If anyone knows anything about this please let me know at 662 210-0150.

The greatest gift of Easter is love and hope. It was proven by Jesus on a hill called Calvary.

We can never express enough gratitude for the Lord’s blessings. He has a remarkable way of setting things right for His children, even when we often overlook His countless gifts. If only we could see with our spiritual eyes, we would witness Him healing the sick and protecting our loved ones, leaving us in awe of His love.

It’s important that we place our trust in God and remain steadfast in His promises. Remember, the journey that God has planned for you will never lead you to a place where His abundant provisions for your needs won’t be found. His mercy, love, and grace are always within reach, ready to uplift and save you.
