The date for the 5th Annual Lowell Morris and Duke Turner Scholarship Benefit has been set for October 4th, 2025! Please tell your friends and neighbors! Each year we raise money for scholarships with this music benefit in honor of two of my good friends! It’s a day filled with music, fellowship, and laughter! This years poster created by Cherry Mullikin features someone that was not only close to me but anyone who met her, my Aunt Patty! Anyone that has attended the benefit in years past knew who she was, the life of the party! We will definitely miss her this year!

We are pleased to announce we will be extending the Lowell Morris and Duke Turner Scholarship Benefit! Thank to our sponsors and all of the folks who attend the benefit each year we are able to now give out more scholarships! We have decided this year we will be giving two - $500 scholarships to Owsley County High School, Breathitt High School and LEE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL! Most of our sponsors are from these three counties as well as our benefit attendees! So please, if you are or have a senior at these 3 schools please have them click the correct link below and fill out the form that has their school listed underneath! All of these schools counselors have this information as well and can help the senior if need be! We also want to thank all of our musicians and bands that play each and every year! We could not have done this for 4 year now without our artist! Thank you again for your support and be on the lookout for the 2025 scholarship benefit information!
