Rural Digital Bridge Rural Digital Bridge helps volunteers, businesses and donors revitalize their small towns through public service, digital literacy, and local outreach.

RURAL DIGITAL BRIDGE hopes to create a healthy region of small towns, with all the elements that go into a well-functioning community. Our programs will engage the River Valley small towns through civic pride, project development, digital education, community participation, and local business enhancement. As a local non-profit our focus is multi-layered and aims to address the complex issues found

in impoverished rural small towns. Our rural areas need businesses to provide jobs. Those businesses need capable employees to work. Small rural towns have an employee base, however those individuals often do not have the technical skill set to attract new business in the area. In addition, individuals who have lived in poverty for some time often feel defeated. The idea of learning technical skills seems non-productive as the availability of high quality jobs in our local area is minimal. It becomes a vicious cycle. Many who do decide to advance their education leave the small town and do not return.
