Meet our Supply Committee! Everything you saw stocked and ready for our students this past weekend started with this crew. They work year-round to purchase the thousands of school supplies, backpacks, and shoes it takes to serve 1,900+ Watauga County students.

Let’s give them a BIG thank you for the months of work behind such an incredible Festival weekend! 🎒✏️👟

Back 2 School Festival 2026 was truly one for the books.

Recently, our planning committee members were asked to name their favorite festival moments, all of us had to stop and think. The truth is, there are just too many beautiful moments to choose from. So we’re sharing some of them with you 💙

It truly takes a village, and yesterday ours came together to serve 1,902 Watauga County students. We are so proud to be a part of this amazing community that continues to show up for our students and their families, year after year. We couldn’t be more grateful.

We’re waking up this morning with full hearts and so much gratitude 💙 1,902 Watauga County students served yesterday. And so many people came together to make that possible.

The hugs and excitement as teachers welcomed their students, seeing our amazing volunteers who come back year after year, meeting new ones, watching our community businesses and organizations make the day so much fun—and seeing students walking the halls smiling in their new shoes and backpacks, feeling confident and ready for their first day of school. Those are the moments that stay with us.

This morning, we’re resting, reflecting, and feeling incredibly grateful. From our planning committee, truly, thank you for showing up for our Watauga county students and families. 💙
