Join us Thursday, May 14 from 5:00–7:00 PM for a night of fun, connection, and community in a safe and welcoming space.

We exist to serve families serving children from hard places. We love to lock arms with our community in the High Country in our mission. Each family and each child have different needs… so we work with families to help them thrive as they are on their journey! Let us know if you want to be part of what we’re doing!!

Grateful to join Fostering Hope Catawba and Big House Family Ministry today in the foothills. Thankful we can lock arms and walk forward in supporting children and families who are keeping step with those from vulnerable places.

Calling All High Country Golfers…. (And off the mountain golfers as well!!!) Come enjoy a golf game while supporting our partners at the Nest Alliance for their annual golf tournament. This Saturday, May 2!!

You may be surprised at how many children have to sleep at the DSS office due to the lack of licensed homes. This is (sadly) common across NC as the number of children in care, more than doubles the number of homes that are able to care for them. Foster Connection is grateful to partner with our local county offices and we can provide needed items when this happens. Recently we were able to provide gift cards for children to get clothing and thanks to -boone@ we were able to give them dinner out one night. We believe in community and we believe in these children! Thank you for supporting so we can support them!

Grateful to meet up with and learn all about The NEST Alliance. They are doing amazing work to serve children and families of Ashe Co! Thank you ladies for the afternoon of learning and growing together!

Many people would assume when a child comes into the foster care system, a car seat comes with them. Sadly- this is incorrect. We are grateful for resources that have been donated so we can take this expense off of foster parents! Thank you to the many people who have donated so we can gift items like these to parents who are loving on vulnerable children!
