Violence, silence... and hope.

Nearly half of the 20 countries where Christians face the world’s most extreme persecution are within SAT-7’s ministry region across the Middle East and North Africa.

Behind every ranking is a person. A family forced to flee. A believer living in fear. A community determined to keep its faith alive.

“I desperately need your prayers,” said Meersa from Afghanistan “I have been a believer since I was much younger and my husband knows about my faith and keeps threatening to hand me over to the Taliban. I am alone and have no one but my Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.”

Today, we remember those who continue to suffer because of their faith. And we give thanks that, even where fear seeks to silence, Christ continues to bring hope through His presence and His people.

Pray for Algeria 🙏

Our thoughts are with the people of Algeria as devastating wildfires sweep through the north of the country.

At least 12 people have lost their lives, dozens have been injured, and families have been forced from their homes.

SAT-7 has a longstanding connection with communities in northern Algeria, where programs in the local Kabyle language bring encouragement, faith, and connection to Christians across the region.

Please join us in praying for those who are grieving, healing for the injured, protection for communities still at risk, and strength for those fighting the fires.

In the midst of war, illness, financial hardship, and heartbreak, Ariamehr from Iran says that finding faith in Christ brought a peace he had never known before.

After years of pain and months of overwhelming darkness, he now prays not only for healing and hope for their own life, but for God’s light and peace to reach others throughout Iran and around the world.

"I ask God that this light that He lit in my heart may happen to everyone… that everyone may be able to be believers, see what it feels like, and how much peace can be gained."

Here, local presenter Asma introduces two of her guests who will be sharing their testimonies about how God has helped them through difficult times.

Set to broadcast in September, it is hoped this new show will resonate with young audiences across North Africa and help them on their own journeys through life and faith.
