A huge thank you to the Blue Ridge Energy Members Foundation for awarding us a grant that will allow Mountaineer Medics to establish a Bicycle Emergency Response Team! 🚲🚑

This program will significantly improve response times in congested, crowded, or restricted areas. Bicycle medics will be able to navigate large event spaces more efficiently, allowing for faster patient contact and delivery of care.

As Mountaineer Medics continues to grow and make improvements to our agency, we are always looking for ways to better serve the App State community. If you would like to support our continued growth and future initiatives, please consider donating to Mountaineer Medics!

Due to the weather forecast, we have elected to postpone our anniversary celebration. We know many of you were looking forward to spending the afternoon with us, but we don’t want to risk people’s safety.

The Deep Gap Volunteer Fire Department has achieved an improved ISO Class 4 rating, reflecting enhanced fire protection, training, and equipment. This upgrade positively impacts community safety and could lower property insurance premiums for residents and businesses in the service area.

Meeting this Wednesday (9/23) starting at 6pm at Caldwell Community College!

A rep from Motorola Solutions will be attending the meeting to show us some new radios and technology they have released for fire departments, they will also be providing a Chick Fil A meal.

All county firefighters and first responders are invited to attended!
