Days are filled with activities like riding horses, creating arts and crafts, climbing up a 35' climbing wall, playing sports and games, flying down a 35' tall water slide, and so much more. Evenings consist of nationally recognized programs like the Trail of Five Fires, Honor Point, Embers, and Inspiration Point. Spring Family Connection!🌸

This weekend, we hosted our largest Family Connection program yet with over 95 campers! This amazing group included many returning campers, along with a huge number of new families experiencing Y Camp for the very first time. We loved seeing so many little ones trying new things and making memories alongside the people they love most. One of our favorite parts of these weekends is getting to watch the adults fully jump into the camp experience too!

We always say that at Y Camp, you don’t have to make friends… they’re given to you. Weekends like this are such a great reminder of how quickly camp becomes a community, no matter your age or connection to the valley.

Thank you to every family who made the journey and helped make this weekend so meaningful!

From everyone at Y Camp, we want to extend a massive thank you to all of the incredible key leaders, volunteers, board members, campers, YMCA employees and members of our camp community who made the journey out to camp yesterday to help get the valley ready for Summer 2026!☀️

Yesterday was our annual Work Day, and not only did we have an amazing turnout, but the Key Leaders also came out ready to tackle a huge portion of our summer prep projects. From getting down and dusty to jumping into every task with energy and heart, they helped make a huge impact on camp.

We cannot thank and our entire camp community enough for the continued support and dedication to making sure camp is looking its absolute best for the kids this summer.

We are so lucky to have a community that is always willing to show up, work hard and do all the good they can!

We are just one week away from our Volunteer Work Day here at Y Camp from 4–8 PM!🪏🌳

Y Camp simply would not be the same without the help of our volunteers and camp community! Today, we want to spotlight Kyle Beach! Kyle, a Y Camp Leader alumni, former director and dedicated volunteer, is always willing to jump in and support camp in a variety of ways. From programming and sharing knowledge with current leaders and directors to helping create stronger programs for campers, Kyle is someone Y Camp is incredibly lucky to have in our community.

Most recently, Kyle built three new atlatls for our atlatl range, just like he did when we first started the program when he was the Outdoor Education Director! His craftsmanship and hard work will ensure that campers can continue to love this program for many more summers to come.

1️⃣ SUMMER IS HERE! - The valley is truly beginning to look like summer! The horses have arrived, the pool is currently being filled, Y Camp Leaders are planning their travels and registrations are flowing in everyday! The countdown has begun and we are so excited to see so many familiar faces and meet many new friends in just a few short weeks.

2️⃣ MEMORIAL WEEKEND FAMILY CONNECTION - Join us at Y Camp for an all-inclusive family-centered program created to enjoy the outdoors and grow as a family! Come out to camp and experience this unique program with us!

3️⃣ SUMMER 2026 - Registration for Summer 2026 is open and many of our most popular programs and weeks are starting to fill up. Head over to our website to check out all of our summer programs and register today!

4️⃣ VOLUNTEER WORK DAY - If you’re looking for a great opportunity to jump in, Y Camp hosts an annual Volunteer Work Day in May to help gear up for summer camp. Camp is always in need of volunteers to help provide a wonderful camper and customer experience. The opportunities are endless to get involved, whether that be through facility maintenance, housekeeping, construction, administration, marketing, assisting with camp programing or in your own way. All efforts and gifts are appreciated! May 20th 4-7PM

5️⃣ ANNUAL CAMPAIGN - The Annual Giving Fund ensures that this camp experience is available to every individual and family, regardless of economic circumstance. This campaign is focused on removing barriers and connecting with at-risk populations. The funds raised go to support every aspect of the camp experience, from paying registration fees to helping to support care of facilities to feeding the Y Camp horses and everything in between.
