Had an absolutely fantastic time hitting the Lost Lake Trail at Ledges Monday! 🌲🥾 There’s nothing quite like getting the Cub Scouts out into nature. The kids did a great job navigating the trail, burning off some energy, and practicing their Leave No Trace skills. So proud of Pack 149! 🐻🦅

🪵 Crossing the Bridge to New Adventures! 🪵
At our final event in May, we celebrated our incredible Cub Scouts as they took part in the Bridge Over Ceremony, advancing to their next rank! We are so proud of all their hard work, growth, and the achievements they've earned this year.

A massive THANK YOU to all of our amazing parents. Thank you for trusting us with your children, for volunteering your time, and for allowing us the privilege to help teach, guide, and watch these kids grow into awesome leaders. We couldn’t do it without our incredible Pack family!

🏎️🏁 Get your motors running! 🏁🏎️
It’s time for the annual Pack 149 Pinewood Derby Races! We welcome all family and friends to join us to cheer on the Scouts as they race to win and have a blast.

📍 Location: Grace Community Church
📅 Date: Saturday, April 18th

Race Day Schedule & Details:
10:00 AM – Check-in Starts: Please arrive on time to get your car registered!
11:00 AM – First Green Flag: The races begin! (Note: Once the races start, no latecomers will be allowed to race to keep the heats running smoothly. Thank you for understanding!)

Concessions: Come hungry! We will have walking tacos, hot dogs, chips, cookies, water, and Capri Suns available for purchase. While supplies last. 🌭🍪

Family/Open Races: If you wish to race against your Scout or other family members, Lightweight races will take place immediately after the regular heats. If we have Heavyweight cars lined up, they will roll off next!

Awards: We will present awards once all the Cub Scout races are complete.

Girl Scouts: Stick around, as the Girl Scouts will be running their races right afterward!

⚖️ Pre-Race Weigh-In:
The official scale is currently at the Ericson Public Library and will be there until Friday morning. We highly encourage you to stop by and weigh your car ahead of time!

At our last Den Meeting, Scouts went outside for a hike and learned about local wildlife. Others played games as a group, practicing following instructions and good sportsmanship.

Arrow of Light Cross Over

Our March Den Meeting was an incredibly proud day for Pack 149 here in Boone! 🎉
Please join me in congratulating our amazing Scouts as they receive their Arrow of Light and officially cross over into Boy Scouts! 🏹✨ The Arrow of Light is the highest honor a Cub Scout can achieve, and they have put in so much hard work, dedication, and leadership to reach this milestone.
From the early days of Pinewood Derbies and local camping trips to mastering new skills and serving our community, it has been an absolute privilege watching them all grow. As they walk across the bridge, the whole Pack is cheering them on.
The adventure is just beginning. Best of luck on the trail ahead in Boy Scouts! 🏕️🔥

🌟 Big Night for our Scouts! 🌟

We are so proud of all the hard work our Scouts put in to reach their new advancements! Seeing them stand tall during the flag ceremony and receive their awards was a highlight of the year.

Tonight was our Annual Cake Bake. All of them looked amazing with their scouting theme.
We also had a guest speaker, Sheriff Godzicki. We appreciate you taking the time to come speak with our Scouts.
Hope everyone had fun and enjoyed a piece of cake when they got home.
