We are excited to be a part of a statewide Community Land Trust Coalition with several other land trusts focused on raising awareness on the effectiveness of the Community Land Trust Model and working together to support each-other. Become a WCHT member this Giving Tuesday! For $25 a year you can help shape the next WCHT project, choose our leadership. We don't have any staff or offices, so our overhead is pretty low. If we can cover these basic costs with memberships, we can keep putting 100% of our other fundraising toward the next building or repair project. This would take 195 yearly members paying the membership fee of . In 2026 we will be deciding on our next project and we invite you to help shape it. Become a member and help choose what projects take on next to secure more land for affordable housing.

Help us congratulate our first homebuyer! We are beyond excited to announce the sale of our first permanently affordable home to a Boone local.

This home is a testament to what a group of community members can accomplish together. WCHT extends deep gratitude to all its financial supporters, members, and material donors for helping make affordable homeownership a reality in Watauga County.
