🍂🍁 Fall is in the air, and it’s absolutely magical in Downtown Boone! 🧡🏔️

As our mountains begin to put on their beautiful fall show, we’re welcoming visitors from near and far for App State Homecoming, leaf-peeping adventures, and all the wonderful fall events happening around the High Country! 🎃🏈🍂

We’re grateful to everyone who chooses to visit our little mountain town, shop local, dine downtown, and enjoy everything Boone has to offer. ❤️

But with more people on the roads and some pretty spectacular scenery to admire, we have a little friendly reminder: Please slow down, stay alert, and keep your eyes on the road! 🚗🍁 It's easy to get distracted by those gorgeous colors, but safety comes first for drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, and everyone enjoying the season.

✨ Take in the views, enjoy the festivities, support our local businesses, and help everyone have a safe and wonderful fall weekend!

Welcome to Boone, happy Homecoming, and stay safe out there! 💛🖤

Yes! Come enjoy Downtown Boone, NC, while it's not quite as crowded!

🍂 Fall Break is here! 🍂

Today and tomorrow, our App State students are off enjoying some well-earned time away, which means downtown is wide open and parking is a breeze. 🚗✨

We love our Mountaineers, but we'll admit it: finding a spot on King Street gets a little easier when they're out of town. 😉

So grab a coffee, wander the shops, treat yourself to a long lunch, and enjoy a calmer downtown while you can. Come see us today or tomorrow!

🚧➡️ Howard Street is officially ONE-WAY! 🎉

The construction isn’t quite finished yet, but things are definitely starting to come together! The new paved sidewalks and brick-paver crosswalks are taking shape, and we’re getting a better glimpse of what the finished Howard Street will look like. 👀

We know the long construction process has been challenging for the businesses along Howard Street, so now more than ever, they need our support! ❤️

Make a point to stop by, grab a bite, do some shopping, enjoy a drink, or check out one of the many amazing local businesses along Howard Street. Your visit really does make a difference!

🛍️ Shop local. Eat local. Support Howard Street.
Let’s help these businesses thrive while we watch this exciting transformation take shape!
