When you apply the blood, it:

Provides forgiveness of your sins. “The law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” (Hebrews 9:22, NIV)

Gives you life. “Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.” (John 6:53)

Brings you close to God. “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” (Ephesians 2:13)

Cleanses your conscience. “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.” (Hebrews 9:14)

Gives you boldness to approach God. “Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus…” (Hebrews 10:19)

Sanctifies you. “Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.” (Hebrews 13:12)

Cleanses you. “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1 John 1:7)

Heals you. “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:24, NIV)

Enables you to overcome the devil and his works. “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…” (Revelation 12:11, NIV)

Jesus knew the sin of this world was becoming to much. Jesus knew that something had to be done to save us all. Jesus knew that the path he was taking would be long and hard and he would be faced with temptations. He would be met with disbelief and anger. Jesus knew he would be beaten and broken and placed on a wooden cross. Jesus knew the weight of sin in this world was to become his. Jesus knew that a way had to be made to bring all of Gods children home. Jesus knew so much and saw the true nature of sin in the people he encountered. But Jesus also knew that if he could conquer death and sin for us in our weakness, Satan would be powerless over us all. Hope is a deadly weapon against sin. Faith is our armor. Faith is our strength. Faith feeds us. Faith lights our way. Faith leads us down the right path. Faith gives us eternal peace. Faith will bring that good shepherd out to find you when your lost. Faith will allow us to know the true depth of the bold statement when Jesus says “I Am.” There is much power in those words. There leaves no room for questioning when those words were spoken so boldly. Jesus never backed down or wavered in his faith. And today, the blood of Jesus courses through the veins of all of Gods children. That same blood that healed the sick, raised the dead and changed a world forever. It is through our faith now that allows us to walk in freedom and hope. That blood, now in us, through Jesus, gives us that same “I Am” boldness. We are called to save this world through Christ Jesus. We are called to heal the afflicted and bring peace and love to the downtrodden and fill their lives with Gods blessings. We are called to be a light for this world. Today be bold in your faith! Say with certainty that “I Am” in Christ Jesus and use your God given gifts to change the world from a Heavenly perspective. Go out and be that light for the world today!!!!

John 16:33
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

So often we fight a battle that seems endless and is at times totally pointless. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

We hear the whispers, the lies of the enemy. We are told we are not enough, not worthy. We begin to believe that we are to far gone. Our sins can become overwhelming when all you see in front of you is pain and darkness. The weight of sin is crushing you. Your light is barely flickering. All seems lost.

Today, call upon the Lord. In our weakness we are made perfect in His power, for His grace is sufficient . On our knees call upon the Lord,
And cry out to our God for help;
He hears our voice out of His temple,
And our cry for help before Him came into His ears. He has a plan for each of us , “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

There is victory from sin, there is freedom in Christ Jesus. Cast off the burdens of the world. They are not yours to carry. Open your heart and your life to a God who loves you so much that he gave his only begotten Son, to die on a cross for our sins. That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Please brothers and sisters, don’t loose heart! He knows your name, when everything is falling apart, don’t loose heart. There is victory from sin and heartbreak.

As I sit in a empty church, praying. A church who’s doors have been opened for 24 hours a day for the past week for a prayer vigil. The presence of the Lord is so sweet. I know without a doubt! There is healing in our Lords hands for everything that we could ever encounter. There is hope and peace in Christ Jesus. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
