What a perfect day we had for the Free Fishing Day for Kids at Snow Creek Pond at Rotary Park!
The fish were jumping and the kids were casting.
This year's fish were the largest that we have ever had stocked.
We are so fortunate that the Idaho Fish and Game include Snow Creek Pond in their annual free Fishing Day Event.
The focus is to encourage families to spend more time in nature and hopefully become life long anglers.
We certainly had a lot of families enjoying the day.
There were many fish caught.
Some were very first fishes.
The winning fish over all, was a 16 and a half inch fish caught by a 4 year old boy!
Fun was definitely had by all!

June ends the 2025-26 Rotary year of UNITE FOR GOOD.
The year to build UNITY IN OUR COMMUNITY.
Today I want to highlight 95 NORTH RENTALS.
Monday morning I visited 95 NORTH RENTALS to request to rent a piece of equipment to help with the park clean up on Wednesday..
I quickly was shown the options and told which would be the most appropriate for the task.
Since I was renting the piece myself he asked if there would be an operator over 18...I grinned and he offered an operator...what could have possibly gone wrong?
Wednesday the delivery arrived right on time.
The operator was so knowledgeable and personable.
He quickly got the mess shown ready for the team to arrive shortly.
He then moved towards the slash pile and cleaned up the entire area.
Today when I went in to pay my bill I was handed the receipt shown.
The rental was donated to the Rotary Club of Bonners Ferry.
We are so grateful and the work will be appreciated by everyone visiting the park this season.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
If you are planning any landscaping projects, please check the incredible rates.

We had an awesome team today at the Rotary Park Clean Up.
The Bonners Ferry High School Varsity Boy's Basketball Team along with their coaches Greg Keesee and Brion Poston came to get the job done right.
Jeff Donnell, Glenda Poston, Sarah Fischer and Sandy Johnstone were the Rotarians on site.
The storm had created such a tremendous amount of damage it looked insurmountable on June 30th.
Linda and Eric Lederhos, Jim Hamilton, Jeff Donnell and Sandy Johnstone showed up for park clean up. After several hours Jeff, Sandy and Linda Lederhos left. Eric and Jim worked the whole weekend.
Today when we arrived it still looked overwhelming.
However, the right equipment. combined with the right folks, with the right attitude and an endless amount of teenage energy actually made it look like fun
The park looks terrific. We are ready for Saturday's Free Fishing Days for Kids!
Thank you one and all.
