Prairie Star 4H Club

Prairie Star 4H Club We are a 4-H club located in Gardner, KS. We meet on the second Monday of every month at the Open Class building on the Johnson County Fairgrounds.

Current Prairie Star 4-Hers range in age from 7 to 16 and are active in many projects. Some of these include visual arts, fiber arts, clothing and textiles, woodworking, home environment, plant science, foods and nutrition, leadership, citizenship, photography, and shooting sports. Members are active at both the local and county levels. Prairie Star 4-H leaders and parents work with our youth to i

nstill the values of experiential learning, inclusion, leadership, social emotional growth, and service learning not only at our monthly meetings, but through involvement with community service partnerships and activities. Prairie Star welcomes you to attend one of our monthly meetings and see if we are the right club for you!

Busy Weekend!

Saturday was our County Achievement Celebration. We played Music Bingo and received our awards for the past 4-H year. Our club received a Blue Seal and we are celebrating 50 years!🍀🥳

Sunday a few members were able to volunteer to help at the Gardner Gold Bingo Night! This was such a fun event! 🏅
