Juniper (Joon) is a fun energetic small Aussie. She is friendly with people and learning how to socialize with new dogs. Joon has not been around cats. She will need adopters who are experienced and committed to training her so that she can learn basic manners at home and in public. A home with a fenced yard and no young children is required. Joon would do best placed in a home without another female dog. If you are interested in adopting Juniper, please complete our application https://aussierescuesandiego.org/adoptionapplication/

We’re in our final hours at the Bonita Animal Shelter.

The shelter will close permanently at 5:30 p.m. as we prepare for our move to the new Santee location.

To help our animals like Baylee (ID A1954315) transition smoothly, all adoptions are free for the rest of the day.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a furry friend to your family, now is the perfect moment to stop by and help us “travel light.”

Cute looks, fun attitude, energy and smarts too ... Juniper has so much potential!

Juniper is 8 1/2 months old. She weighs 30lbs and is currently located in Bonita (San Diego, CA).

We are looking for adopters who are Aussie savvy, have a home with a fenced yard as well as time and drive to train. No young children please. Juniper calms down nicely and is learning her basic manners but she will need consistent training, engaging exercise and guidance. We have not had her around cats but she is doing well with her playful foster siblings. If you are interested in adopting Juniper, please fill out our adoption application https://aussierescuesandiego.org/adoptionapplication/
