Bonifay Kiwanis Club Kiwanis clubs, located in 80 nations, help their communities in countless ways. Each community’s needs are different—so each Kiwanis club is different.

During the first full weekend of October, Bonifay, Florida goes country when the Northwest Florida Championship Rodeo comes to town. Since its inception in 1944, the Bonifay Kiwanis Club has sponsored the Northwest Florida Championship Rodeo and continues to carry the tradition of ensuring quality family entertainment. Over 25,000 people (eight times the population of Bonifay) can be found in Boni

fay during the rodeo weekend. Some people even schedule their only week of vacation to be a part of the rodeo action by camping out in the Bonifay Kiwanis Club designated camping areas. Over the years, the Bonifay Kiwanis Club and countless volunteers have been providing the driving force behind what is considered one of the best professional rodeos in Northwest Florida.

🚒🤠🍬 With all the talks of the upcoming rodeo events, we want to talk about how excited we are for them. More specifically, we want to talk about the parade on Friday and Saturday. We love driving some of our trucks in the parades and seeing the joy on kids’ faces. Over the years, there have been increasing numbers of children who inadvertently get just a little too close to the fire trucks for our comfort. No one loves the traditions of the rodeo parade more than BFD, however, we fully support the increased attention to the safety of everyone that attends, especially the children. We appreciate our Kiwanis club for all of their hard work to make these events happen and for making the safety of everyone priority. BFD has already planned another exciting way to hand out candy and fun toys during this year’s parades. We can’t wait to see you this year! 🍬🤠🚒

🍿🎥🍔 Hey Teens! This one’s for you!! We’ve partnered with Bonifay Police Department, Holmes County Education Foundation, and Waukesha Way to bring you a free, fun filled evening. We’re going to have inflatables, food, a movie, and a drawing for a $100 gift card. We can’t wait to see you on August 2nd. Bring a friend and come celebrate the end of summer break with us! 🍔🎥🍿
