The Lucky Puppy Rescue LPR is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit dog rescue in Bonifay, FL, with an adoption center in Argyle, NY. We take in approximately 1000 dogs a year.
(568)

All dogs are completely vetted and socialized in hopes of finding forever homes. The Lucky Puppy Rescue is located on a 125 acre family farm in Bonifay, Florida. When new rescue dogs are brought in they are welcomed and cared for in a clean and secure kennel. Our Great Beginnings adoption center is a 15 acre property in Argyle, NY. Days begin in FL with an early morning walk through a combination of woods and pasture and trails. The dogs have ample opportunity for exercise and quite often complete these walks with a splash and swim in the pond. There are lots of chances for quiet naps throughout the day. Usually before doggie dinner is served there is another long walk about the farm to finish off the day. Founder, Teri Mattson will tell you that when she is walking with the pack and watching them play, she often feels that she is the "Lucky" one in this rescue!

🐾 PAWSOME VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT! 🐾

A big shout-out to our amazing foster, Emily DiSiena

Emily has been fostering for Lucky Puppy Rescue for over 7 years and has welcomed more than 200 foster dogs into her home! ❤️

We are so grateful for Emily and Steve for opening their hearts and home to so many pups, especially those who need extra love and care. At times, Emily has even cared for more than four pups at once and recently conducting the most adoptions in one day for her fosters!

Thank you, Emily and Steve, for your kindness, dedication, and the difference you have made in so many puppies’ lives!
