The library is still looking for help with tomorrow's stomp rocket event. Can you help? Sign up below!

One way the Friends of the Bondurant Library supports your library is to share volunteer opportunities. There are lots of fun things coming up this summer, and the staff really could use your help to serve all the kiddos who participate. In addition to the Stomp Rocket event, there are other events to choose from.

More details on June 8 task:

For stomp rocket event, volunteers will be expected to stand outside for approximately 30-45 minutes and blow up 2 liter bottles after each time it is stomped to launch the rockets. For hygiene reasons, each volunteer will stay at their assigned station the entire event. Volunteers should be age 12+ and able to assist without the need for supervision.

It's this weekend!! We will be setting up Thursday evening and be here Friday and Saturday during library hours. Bring a box and shop our selection of books. We could use some help, putting books away, on Saturday evening and would appreciate any help we can get.

The Friends of the Bondurant Library organizes volunteers, runs the book sale, and helps fund extras the regular budget can’t cover. The infographic below shows what that support has looked like since May 2023.
