Eric Jackson posted this picture from 1983 of him paddling this Dagger prototype wood-strip canoe. With water being low this year, it reminds us that not all wood boats are dories and drifters. Could this be the year we see some wooden canoes, kayaks and SUPs at Colorado Wooden Boat Float ?

Big Boats, Little Boats, New Boats and Old Boats. Decided to stop by Fretwater Boatworks in Flagstaff, Arizona to see what Brad Dimock and crew had happening at the shop.
Cricket and Glade were packing for a Grand Canyon trip the next day and Brad was advising Marieke Taney on how to best prep her classic turtle-back Dory "Betty Boop" for her trip down the Big Ditch in a few weeks.
Safe travels to all on the rivers this season and Thanks to Brad for the tour of his Boat Shop and Historical Museum to the River Boats of the West from Past to Present.
