Today the troop was at the church to say thank you. The Bolivar (Open Hearts) UMC has served as the troop charter organization for 57 years. We had a cake and serveral Dutch oven treats for the people after the service.

Troop 45 was joined today by Pack 128 to post flags for Veterans Day later this week in both of Bolivar's cemetaries.

Service Project tomorrow night. We will meet at 6pm at the courthouse. We will be spreading mulch in flowerbeds. Bring work gloves and rakes. Wear a Class B shirt. We will go to the church after we finish to practice Crossover.

Just a quick reminder. There is no scout meeting at the church this week (July 13, 2021) since most of the troop is at Summer Camp.

This weekend is Memorial Day. As we have in the part, Troop 45 will be posting flags at the Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar tomorrow from 1-4 pm. If you can be there to help make sure that you are in your Class A uniform. If anyone that has a cub scout wants to help, they are more than welcome to come as well.

Good evening folks. I am very sad to report that Troop 45 has lost a strong supporter. Julie Spiegle passed away this morning. For those of us who knew Julie know how kind and loving a person she was. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Services will be next Monday.
