The SPOT

The SPOT We offer both in-person and virtual service delivery options. We currently host music, cooking, and anger management classes weekly.

Rohrbach Services Corporation is a non-profit organization committed to providing complimentary access to mental health services and resources for individuals within our community. The Spot is a community center designed to help families and individuals in our local area promote mental health and access to services and support for individuals with limited resources, special needs, and other challe

nges. While we encourage inclusion, closed events will be designed specifically for those with special needs and other specific criteria for some groups and classes. Additional courses will be posted and added under events when scheduled. Why We Do Not Provide Services or Respond to Inquiries via Social Media
Rohrbach Services is committed to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical care. For this reason, we do not use social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) to conduct therapy, provide clinical advice, or respond to service inquiries. Here’s why:

Privacy and Confidentiality
Social media is not a secure or confidential form of communication. Interactions on these platforms may be visible to others or stored in ways that could compromise your privacy. We are ethically and legally obligated to protect your personal health information, and social media does not meet the necessary standards for confidentiality. Professional Boundaries
Maintaining clear professional boundaries is essential to ensure a safe and therapeutic relationship. Engaging via social media can blur these boundaries and create dual relationships that are not appropriate in a clinical setting. Clinical Risk and Liability
Social media is not an appropriate platform for crisis support or mental health services. Through these platforms, we cannot assess risk, provide emergency support, or ensure an appropriate clinical response. Miscommunication or delays in response may also lead to serious liability and ethical concerns.

Trauma Changes Your Brain — So Does Healing /- Opah Melody We often think of trauma as something huge—war, abuse, crime, disaster. But trauma can be more common and quieter than that. Trauma can come from any experience that makes you feel unsafe, overwhelmed, or unable to cope. That means every...

We are relocating our offices at Rohrbach Services and hosting a yard sale every weekend through the end of April. I am available today for interested individuals who would like to visit at 115 E Broadway, Bolivar. We have numerous items available and will continue to provide our standard services, although we will no longer operate the community center. All proceeds will benefit our nonprofit organization, which supports mental health needs in our community. Thank you for your support. Please message us and confirm my availability if you plan to visit.

Loneliness isn’t always about being by yourself. Often, it shows up when people surround you, but the things that matter most to you stay locked inside. Carl Jung spoke to this idea so powerfully: the ache comes not from isolation, but from the inability to communicate what feels authentic, meanin...

The more I work with folks, the more I see that many of us don't really understand what repair actually means —
and that's often because we haven't experienced it enough to have an embodied sense of it.
And without that experience, it can be hard to understand its role, importance, and what true repair can do for a relationship.

An apology is saying you're sorry, but true repair requires both parties to be engaged, reflective, and vulnerable.
We have to get to the root of the conflict;
to the core of what really happened and how it impacted the dynamic.

We have to be willing to share our experiences, feelings, and really listen to the other side.
To repair, you also have to practice staying connected to yourself AND the other person.

Often, if both parties aren't fully engaged, one will be appeasing, withdrawing, or over-functioning and then we're left with a surface level peace.
And then we find ourselves annoyed by or arguing about things that we'd otherwise usually let go of, and we end up feeling further away from the other person.

True repair is uncomfortable.
We have to be willing to sit with shame and guilt,
we have to be willing stay connected to ourselves and the other,
and we have to be willing to see our own role;
our own triggers, blind spots, and growth areas.
We have to resist blame and walk toward vulnerability and accountability.

To get better at repairing, you can start with practicing your own internal repair.
Can you sit with yourself and stay connected in moments that feel hard, even when you feel ashamed or guilty about something you've done? Can you still hold on to your goodness and humanity?

The Cycle Breakers program helps you with this piece; with developing that relationship to you in the context of small, supportive community.
Today is the last day to get 2025 pricing (save $200!) and to receive a free 1:1 with me to use in January.
Can't wait to see you there!
