What does it take to safely fly one of aviation’s most legendary aircraft?

Join former commercial pilot **Howard Bohl** for the story of his memorable DC-3 journey from San Diego to the Chicago area—plus fascinating tales from a career spanning flight instruction, commercial aviation, and flying for movies and television commercials.

Pilots, aviation enthusiasts, history fans, families, and curious newcomers are all welcome!

✈️ FAA SAFETY SEMINAR — INSIDE AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL

Join us Thursday, August 20, at 7:00 PM at the Illinois Aviation Museum for an informative FAASTeam safety seminar led by air traffic control professionals from throughout the Chicagoland area.

Learn more about ATC operations and the best practices that help keep our airspace safe. Presenters will represent:

• Air Route Traffic Control Center
• Radar-controlled tower
• Non-radar-controlled tower
