What an awesome event we had this year! Over 1000 people attended our little haunted hangar! So many thanks go out. Costco for candy, Goya foods for juice boxes and awesome cookies, 501st Garrison for their participation, EAA461 for their fun contribution as well as all the guys in hangar 2, otherwise known as the Annex! And to all the volunteers who help make this event what it is. Better and better every year. And last but not least, our Mayor and trustees for all their support. Oh yeah, and to all our guests who came out and made it the great success it was. See you all next year. And don’t forget about our Santa sendoff this coming December. Follow us for more details. 🎃✈️ **We need volunteers for Haunted Hangar!**

The Illinois Aviation Museum’s Haunted Hangar is coming up **Saturday, October 17 from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM**, and we’re putting together our volunteer crew.

There are lots of ways to help — inside, outside, during setup the week before, dressed up as part of the fun, or behind the scenes as one of our “worker bees.”

**Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.**

✈️ Storytime at the Illinois Aviation Museum is TOMORROW!

Join us Saturday, October 3 from 9:30–10:00 AM for a fun, plane-themed storytime presented by Fountaindale Library.

After storytime, stick around and explore the museum and our interactive exhibits!

Join the Illinois Aviation Museum at the Bolingbrook Festival next Saturday!

We’ll be there with our popular Ground Bound aviation ride from 3:00–7:00 PM. Bring the family, stop by for a ride, and learn more about the Illinois Aviation Museum and our upcoming programs and events.

⏰ Ground Bound rides: 3:00–7:00 PM

The festival runs from 1:30–10:00 PM and features food, a bazaar, family activities, entertainment and more. Admission is free!
