The commission shall assist the Mayor and Board of Trustees in developing and implementing projects that will enhance the artistic and cultural aesthetics of the Village. The Commission shall develop and recommend to the Mayor and Board of Trustees projects and programs which will have as their purpose the cultural enhancement of the Village with respect to fine and performing arts.

Call for Artists! 2-D Artwork of any medium, by local artists of all ages and levels, will be showcased in the pop-up Bolingbrook Arts Expo at the Village of Bolingbrook 's Village Picnic. Artwork will be exhibited within the Tunnel Art Gallery during the picnic, and showcased to thousands of picnic attendees.

HOPE- a piece of visual art that is displayed during the Relay For Life of Bolingbrook event today at The Village of Bolingbrook Town Center.

The Bolingbrook Arts Council and resident Bob Hanerhoff, of Hanerhoff Painting, partner to create this visual message for the cancer survivors and relay supporters every year.

Rainy weather prevented the direct painting on the grass of the hill this year, so we took the message to canvas.

To all the cancer survivors and their loved ones: continue to fight and live life with HOPE and love.

CHECK IT OUT! Paid Live Entertainment Technical Crew Summer Intern opportunity for a Bolingbrook resident entering junior year in high school through college. Complete the application form no later than Sunday 5/24/2026.
Students will work alongside professional lighting, sound mixers, live event managers and Bolingbrook TV staff creating an audience experience at the Village Wednesday Night Summer Concert series. If you love live music and are interested in careers in the design and technical side of the arts, this is the perfect opportunity to dip in your toes, or level up your resume for the next step.
Just 4-5 hours on Wednesday nights during the Summer concerts, (6/24 through 8/12) allowing for plenty of flexibility with summer jobs and ending the eight weeks with a $250 stipend. Questions? Email [email protected]
