Tune in this Friday Aug 7 to Chicago's Very Own WGN9 channel 9 @ 11:30am to see Sierra and band. She will perform one of her new songs!

Then, head over to Navy Pier to see them perform LIVE @ 5:00-6:00 PM. Free admission!

On August 29, 2026, at Eugene Field Park, experience Chicago's only Filipino cultural festival presented by the Chicago Park District โ€” FREE for all! Bring the whole family for a music-forward celebration featuring live performances across five segments, from classical Filipino music and harana to DJ remixes, spoken word, and a live dance crew competition. Savor mouthwatering Filipino food, explore artisanal crafts, and be part of a day where Filipino music and culture take center stage.

Headlining the festival is Chicago's premier Filipino folk fusion band, SamaSama Project, performing a live concert from The Great Filipino Songbook โ€” iconic Filipino songs reimagined for right now. Don't miss this unforgettable celebration of heritage, music, and community!

What to Expect: A variety of Chicagolandโ€™s finest Filipino-owned food vendors (bring cash or card!) - Artisanal crafts and cultural performances. Bounce houses, crafts, and activities offered for kids.

Want to experience a Taste of the World? Stop by iFest tomorrow, July 11, at the Village of Bolingbrook Town Center, 375 W. Briarcliff Rd. This fun event will be held at the same beautiful grounds as Piyesta Pinoy last June 13.

Dine with our friends from Pinoy Grill Filipino Street Foods, Riceby and Edrolls who will be serving up their delicious food and drinks!

Shop with some of the non-food business vendors such as Elite Crafts & Bracelets and Jm Jm who will also be joining the festivities!

Watch the beautiful cultural dances of the Philippines performed by the Santacruzan Cultural Group at 1:45pm.

The Argyle Night Market is BACK โ€” and opening night is FILIPINO NIGHT!
This Thursday, July 2, Argyle Street transforms into a celebration of Filipino culture with lion dancers, folk dancers, live comedy, acoustic music, and a headlining set from Chicago's premier Filipino Folk Fusion band, SamaSama Project . Also performing: Hoang P**c Lion Dance Association, comedian , Pacf Perf Arts , singer , and comedian .
Filipino Night is presented by SAAYSAAY, a Chicago-based cultural production company that creates platforms where Filipino and diasporic stories take center stage.
Free. Family-friendly. Let's bring opening night energy!!

Thank you to all the cultural and nonprofit partners for providing workshops and activities at the cultural tent, at the surrounding tents and the park area of the Visayas location!

The mini stage was filled with musical workshops, karaoke, book reading, bingo, food workshop, and a songwriters session.

Outside of the cultural tent our partners had so many activities and informational booth for all ages!

Thank you to all the volunteers, partner organizations and committee members who made our Piyesta a success again!
